Ferrari 355 Capristo Exhaust Valve Kit

The Capristo Exhaust Valve Kit for the Ferrari 355 includes: exhaust valve, electromagnetic valve, back pressure tube made of silicon, two sealing rings and vacuum devices with heat protectors.

This kit solves a known problem with the F355 models. The original exhaust valves of the 355 need back pressure to completely open. If there is any lead in the back pressure system (porous tube, etc.) this then leads to a loss of said back pressure, and the result is that the original valves are unable to open anymore. Because of this, too much back pressure is produced in the upper rpm ranges, and is one of the causes why the F355 headers are damaged.

Capristo's replacement kit includes an exhaust valve that works the other way around so that if there should be any defects in the back pressure system, the valve would automatically open, and stay open. In addition, it also has their patented, free-from-play mounting, which also guarantees an optimal and vibration-free performance at high temperatures.
