Engineering and Materials

CAPRISTO exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured at their factory in Germany using advanced techniques like 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This specific alloy was chosen after extensive research for its excellent sonic resonance, low weight, and durability, properties that are similar to Inconel, a material often used in Formula 1 racing.

Fittment and Compatibility

These catless downpipes are designed to fit all McLaren models equipped with the M838T/E motor, which includes the MP4-12C, 650S, 675LT, 540C, 570S/570GT, and 600LT. The system is a direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM parts, designed to be installed into the existing factory mounting points. It is important to note that this system does not fit the 2020+ McLaren GT.

Important Considerations

Replacing the OEM catalytic converters with these catless downpipes will likely trigger a "Check Engine Light" (CEL) on your vehicle's dashboard. Please also add Capristo's OBD Wizard pro when buying this to clear warning lights without a remap.
