Valved Sport Exhaust

The iconic Capristo Valved Exhaust System offers the ultimate fusion of technology and craftsmanship for your Mercedes-AMG GT R. Engineered to provide the best of both worlds, it delivers an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving.

This dual personality is possible through vacuum-actuated valve flaps, which are backpressure-controlled by the three OEM valve actuators. At lower engine speeds and during cruise operation, the valves are closed, producing a deep, refined tone. At wide-open throttle, the valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the engine.

Capristo Exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured in Germany utilizing advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling. Each system is made from high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. This specific alloy was chosen after extensive research for its superior sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, which are comparable to the properties of Inconel used in Formula 1.

The system is designed for direct installation into existing OEM mounting points and includes mid-pipes and a valved rear section with OE valve adapters. Crucially, it comes with both an OEM Cat Adapter and a Cat Delete Adapter, allowing the owner to choose between configurations. The system uses the OEM tips for a factory-like finish
