The Capristo Valved Sport Exhaust System for the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 (SUV and Coupé) is a comprehensive performance upgrade designed to amplify the character of the 4.0-litre Bi-Turbo V8. The Full System Architecture

Unlike a simple rear-silencer swap, this Capristo kit is a complete mid-to-rear overhaul:

• Middle Silencer Spare Pipes: This system includes dedicated mid-section replacement pipes that delete the restrictive factory centre resonator. This ensures a direct, balanced flow of exhaust gases from the downpipes to the rear mufflers.

• T309 Stainless Steel Construction: Manufactured from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel. This alloy is chosen for its superior thermal stability and high-frequency resonance, delivering a crisp, metallic V12-like edge to the traditional V8 rumble.

• Hand-Polished Finish: Every component is precision TIG-welded and hand-polished to a mirror finish at the Capristo facility in Germany.

CES-3 Programmable Flap Control

The centerpiece of this system is the included CES-3 Control Module, which replaces the standard Mercedes valve logic with a highly intelligent, user-defined interface:

• Manual Override: Via the provided remote key fob, drivers can manually open the valves at any time (even at idle) to enjoy the unfiltered V8 soundtrack.

• Three Programmable Modes:

  • Cruise: Valves open only at higher RPMs for a refined motorway experience.

  • Sport: Valves open earlier for aggressive city driving.

  • Open: Valves remain 100% open for maximum acoustic drama.

• Backpressure Monitoring: The CES-3 is "self-aware." It constantly monitors exhaust backpressure and will automatically override a "Closed" setting to open the valves if pressure reaches a level that could cause engine heat soak.
