The Capristo Valved Exhaust System is a world-class acoustic and performance upgrade specifically developed for the Ferrari California T (F149M). While the California T transitioned to a turbocharged V8, Capristo’s engineering ensures that the "soul" of the Ferrari sound remains intact. This system replaces the standard rear mufflers with a high-flow, valve-operated unit that provides the driver with total authority over the vehicle’s volume and tonal character via an included remote control.

Design & Aesthetic Architecture

• T309 Stainless Steel Construction: Manufactured exclusively from heat-resistant 1.4828 (T309) grade stainless steel. This premium alloy was selected for its superior sound resonance properties, lightweight profile, and extreme durability—sharing similar thermal characteristics with Inconel used in Formula 1.

• Hand-Polished Finish: Each system is meticulously hand-welded using a WIG process and polished to a mirror-like high-gloss finish, ensuring the component looks as exotic as it sounds.

• Advanced CAD Engineering: Developed using 3D laser scanning and CAD design to ensure a 1:1 replacement fitment that utilizes the factory’s original mounting points.

Functional & Technical Integration

• Remote-Controlled Valvetronic Technology: The system is supplied as standard with a wireless remote control kit. This allows the driver to bypass the factory ECU’s restrictive flap logic, providing two distinct driving experiences:

  • Open Mode: The valves remain open permanently, delivering a raw, unrestricted Ferrari "scream" across the entire RPM range.

  • Closed/Stock Mode: Control is returned to the vehicle’s ECU, allowing for a more subdued, civil exhaust note ideal for long-distance cruising or neighborhood driving.

• Optimized Airflow: By reducing backpressure compared to the factory mufflers, the system enhances throttle response and allows the 3.9L twin-turbo V8 to breathe more freely, resulting in measurable performance gains.

• Plug-and-Play Vacuum Logic: The Capristo valves are designed to work seamlessly with the vehicle’s original vacuum hoses, ensuring a clean and reliable installation
